Swan Agri Business operates as an integrated farm on the Narrung Peninsula. Specialising in the cultivation of high value seed crops, lucerne hay, cereal crops and a commercial Angus beef herd.

Our Story

Founded in 2005 by Craig and Anthony Swan, Swan Agri Business began with the purchases of Duke Plains in Cooke Plains. Later, in 2009, the Swans purchased Sheoak Lodge on the Narrung Peninsula, shortly after purchasing Sheoak the decision was made to sell Duke Plains.

Over the years, additional properties have been acquired including Tarama (2012), Henschells (2014), Tobin Lodge (2020), Issaacsons (2021), and Dumosa (2023).

Initially operated as a sheep farm, Sheoak Lodge underwent extensive renovation under the Swan’s ownership. This included the transformation of lucerne pastures, establishing fencing and installation of essential water points to accommodate cattle farming. Craig Swan continues to lead Swan Agri Business as the sole Director.

Swan Agri Business manages 1,150 Angus breeders, ensuring the quality and sustainability of our beef production.
